Cameron Packaging has developed a system to safely ship most AR-15 platform weapons regardless of barrel size and receiver configuration. By supporting the weapon at the stock and muzzle, it can be suspended inside the sturdy shipping carton (part #CAR-41 sold at left or #CAR-50 sold below). A polyethylene foam assembly is placed on the muzzle to provide cushioning and to maintain proper spacing in the carton. Two layers of fiberboard are incorporated in the foam assembly to prevent the muzzle from puncturing the foam or carton if it is dropped. A similar foam assembly is placed on the stock to stabilize and suspend the weapon inside the carton. One inch thick foam planks are placed on both sides of the receiver to further stabilize the weapon. When the carton is closed, the rifle holds all foam components in place. The cartons are sized to accommodate weapons with full top rails, therefore some scope configurations may have to be shipped unmounted.   CAR FOAM SUPPORT SETS Cartons and foam support sets are sold separately.
